I have a query in applying the Federal Skilled Worker Immigration program regarding NOC. I have 4 years of BS degree in Computer Sciences and have number of other certifications. I am working as "System Analyst Network & Communication" since 3+ years. My duties at my current employer matches the duties under NOC 0213 but not the designation. My current duties includes
Managerial Responsibilities
* Communicate with senior management, customer, and vendor to resolve LAN/WAN issues and plans for future upgrades.
* Responsible for researching, evaluating, and integrating new technologies into the environment, as appropriate
* Participate in the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
* Lead and mentor groups of network technicians and engineers and provide technical guidance.
* Serve as the project manager for the analysis, design, development, implementation, and support of the entire infrastructure of the organization.
* Prepare project plans and schedules for infrastructure development, enhancement, and maintenance efforts.
* Establish time lines and prioritization of work within the team.
* Monitor and track the progress of each project. Communicate project status and issues.
* Build, develop, and maintain vendor relationships that are vital to the success of the projects and the company.
Technical Responsibilities
* Provide operations and maintenance support (monitoring, upgrades and troubleshooting) for the Campus Area Network in support of the Directorate of Information Management.
* Test, install, configure, and maintain new or configured network equipment, protocols, or services on campus perimeter network. Create, test, and implement access list for routers and/or switches on the perimeter network.
* Establish and enforce best practices for network management, configuration changes, monitoring, patch management and security.
* Provide Tier 2 and/or Tier 3 network support for a complex enterprise WAN, LAN networks.
* Responsible for all Voice and Data Network Providers for service delivery, capacity planning and operations troubleshooting
* Monitor and resolve service requests in accordance with published SLAs.
* Review and assist in the creation of polices and procedures for enterprise network deployments.
* Oversee compliance and approve change controls in accordance with change management processes.
My questions are as follows
Q1: Is the current designation matters in the selection of NOC or it is based on the job responsibility you do?
Q2: As per the above information may i fall under the NOC 0213 and get into the fast immigration process?
