Hello All,
I have applied for the Outland sponsorship for my wife and baby as dependant on April 19th and still waiting for AOR.
Currently I'm planning to apply for TRV for them, I'm inviting them to celebrate our wedding anniversary which is on May 26th. My wife is an advocate back in India and she has court hearings in July that she has to attend and they are visiting only for 2 weeks (23 may - 6 june). We are planning to show 17k CAD in my wife's bank account and mentioning that she would take care of her and baby's expenses. I will also show around 50k CAD in my account to offer additional support for their stay
Kindly help me if this is a valid scenario to get the TRV approved and please let me know if it is better to apply after getting the AOR. I'm worried if we wait for AOR, our marriage date would have passed and there would not be any reason for me to invite them.

It's up to IRCC if the TRV is approved or not. None of us can guess the outcome. Ideally you would wait for AOR. However if you don't want to wait then nothing stopping you from trying now. When she applies, she will want to show evidence of employment including a leave letter, property ownership ideally and ideally evidence of travel to counties requiring visas.

Note that between processing times and visa stamping times it's highly unlikely she would have a visa by May 23rd.

Thank you, that make sense
