Hello,

I have been to UAE on visit visa 3 times and out of 3, 2 times I got visa through a travel agency. They wrote Sales Representative as my profession on my paper visa, even though I have never worked in my life. Once I got visa through Emirates Airlines and I mentioned my profession as Student on it. Now I'm filling forms for Canadian PR and I'm not going to mention that I have ever worked in my life as I never did. But my previous UAE visit visas shows sales representative as my profession. What to do now?

Tell the truth

As a Pakistani applicant there are numerous other forms and questionnaires required from you, and there is a work experience questionnaire. I imagine while CIC usually doesn't look into PA's work experience for Family Class applications, that they might if asking for all this additional information.

Are they going to believe me that it was from the travel agency side? I'm not going to put anything in the work experience field as I have never done any job until now.

As long as you don't lie and say you worked those jobs because you said you did on UAE visa applications you will be fine.

I never did those jobs LOL i have never done any job in my life. I just gave my passport copy and a photography to travel agency to obtain a tourist visa and after getting the visa I read they wrote Sales Representative as my Profession even though I was still a student. Now while filling the form I came to know that I have to provide my work history and stuff. If I have never worked then how can I tell CIC that I worked in the past just because of the mistake by travel agency.

So what are you worried about then?

I'm worried because copy of my visas says that my profession is sales representative and I'm going to tell CIC that i have never worked which is true. The travel agency filled the form and got visa for me and wrote sales representative on the visa forms.

What matters is that you don't lie to CIC.

Just tell the truth and explain the situation.

I don't have to provide the visa copies to CIC though but I'm still scared that they can find it in background checks.

Yes, they will likely look at previous visas and or refusals.

If I was you I would explain how you did here.
