I have already gone to the police office to do the fingerprints.

however, before I send out my application forms, how can I get the case number/ document number, in order to provide it to my government for getting the No Criminal records?

I am quite confused

Excuse me, I find another question again

As it is better to get the police certificate when I send out my documents to CIC,

Do I need to provide a Police Certificate for Express Entry?
Yes, but only after you submit your application. When you apply for permanent residence, you will be asked to upload a police certificate. Instead, you must upload a document that states: “I am applying from a country that requires an official request letter from CIC to get a police certificate.”
CIC will then review your application. If it is otherwise complete, we will send you more information on how to get a police certificate. Please read the instructions above for more information.

So, should I still send my application for getting the police certificate?
How can I provide the information (like client no.) to the police officer in order to get the certificate?

You're quoting information about Express Entry, which has different requirements.

Some countries do require a document from CIC to get a police check, but since you haven't said what country you are from, I cannot give you any more details.

You should submit police certificates upfront for Family Class.

Thank you for your reply again!

I need the police certificates from the UK and Hong Kong.

I have already applied for the UK police certificate online, but got no ideas about the police certificate of Hong Kong...

Please give me some help! Thank you

How about the form IMM 0008 DEP?
I think it is for the dependents only, right?

As being sponsor a wife only to stay in Canada, we don't have to fill it out, right?

For IMM0008DEP:
Additional Dependants/Declaration (IMM 0008DEP) if applicable.

If you have more than five (5) family members, you must complete the Additional Dependants/Declaration (IMM 0008DEP) form for each additional family member in order to include everyone in your application.

Do you have too many children to list on IMM0008? If yes, then you need to fill out IMM0008DEP. Otherwise, no.

If you are from the UK or Hong Kong, I would strongly recommend you apply outland. The processing will be much faster.

As for the Hong Kong police certificate, I would suggest you ask in the Hong Kong VO thread. http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/hong-kong-timeline-t82193.2385.html
I don't have any experience applying for a certificate from there, although it seems that you can send in the application for it without a request letter.

I am the only applicant of the spouse sponsorship, so, I even don't need to hang out IMM0008 dep, right?

I know it take shorter time to apply it outland, but that means I have to separate with my family in Canada..
That's why I apply it in Canada.

As I come here with my visitor visa, do you have any information about the extension of the visa?
And when should I apply for it? A month before the expiry date?

Again, big thanks for your help, MilesAway!

You can apply outland while in Canada. The inland guide even says so. You just need to extend your status. You can do that online. CIC recommends applying to extend your status 1 month prior to expiring.

Sorry, I don't understand how can I apply outland while I am in Canada... Would you mind to give me some more information please?

do I have to mail everything to my home country and that's it?
I can still stay in Canada without leaving?

If we can apply for it outland even we live in Canada, who would still apply for it inland?

Sorry,
I got another questions again ..

for the financial proof of my sponsor,
does it accept "the recent original" T4 only?
Do I still have to mail them T5 form?

Do I need to ask the friends and family for the letter in order to proof our relationship (we have already married)?

Sorry for keep asking questions :'(

Thank you for your help!

You fill out the forms for outland, follow the guides, and send it in to the Outland address. It's quite simple. Everything is mailed to Mississauga first, then forwarded to the VO for your home country.

You will need to apply to extend your stay, which can be done online.

People apply inland because they don't read the guides and realize that they can still apply outland. Others need visas and are afraid they won't be able to renew them, while others get lured in by the OWP. A lot of people who apply inland quickly learn to regret their decision when they are waiting 2+ years later, while people who applied 14 months after them have already landed.

Letters from family are not required (but check your guide, just to be sure), but I included some as proof that our relationship is genuine. You need to include whatever evidence you have to show that you are in a genuine relationship.

I'm not certain about the financial side of things. I've been outside of Canada for several years, so I didn't have any CRA documents to send in.

Thank you for your information :)

We looked it up on the internet last night, what are we concerning about is

The Visa extend and interview (if I am not allowed the be back to Canada after being back to my home country for the interview)..

I was looking for the forms for applying outland on CIC,
but not very sure if I have found the right one
(http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/spouse.asp

or

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp)...
Would you mind to give me the link please?

Thank you!

The second link is the correct one. It should "Family Class", NOT "In Canada Class".

Many people have had their stays extended without issue. As for an interview, is there a particular reason you are worried about being called for an interview?

OK! I am going to go through the 2nd link!
I am not worried about the interview as we are in the genuine relationship. (Is it necessary for going to the interview at the home country as applying outland?)

My husband is quite worried if I had to leave or be rejected to entry Canada again (I have got the letter from the immigration for my 2nd visit) .... It is the only problem for us to make the decision of apply inland or outland.

The interview would be at the VO responsible for your country.

Are you visa-exempt?

If you could share a bit of your relationship profile, it would help in getting some opinions about the likelihood of requiring an interview. (Although we are not CIC, so no one here can guarantee that you will or won't need an interview.)
