Hello everyone :)
I don't know if this is the right forum cause am new here and this is my first ever post
anyway..
My father had applied for immigration for our family of three in 2007 and we got the reply in 2013
we landed in Canada in August and we did all the paper work and everything went fine
and then we went back to the middle east
My mum and dad's PR cards were issued but mine wasn't :(
when I try to check the CIC page for my application status it says we cannot identify you
but for my parents it says complete
soooo any advices?

there is no phone number :S
I talked to the embassy who just emailed me to mail them at their PO box in Canada
I was just wondering if like anyone has been through something like this
and it worked out for them

The CIC call centre does have a phone number and but the one they give out is not reachable if you call from outside Canada. There is a way around that and there is a whole thread about that here: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/how-to-reach-cic-call-centre-toll-free-number-from-outside-canada-t24877.45.html

The embassy can not help you because they do not issue PR cards. If your PR card does not arrive in the end, you will need a travel document in order to return to Canada. You will apply for the travel document at the embassy. Once you are in Canada, you can apply for a replacement PR card. It is not really a big deal. Just takes time and costs $50 and new photos.

Hey Leon,

Thanks for all that you do. Can I re-enter Canada without a PR card, using a one way rental car from the US just with my COPR? Also, I am not from a visa exempt country. I need to return to finish processing my PR card.

Yes, you can.
