help please! my boyfriend just received his refusal letter on his trv application :-[

and its was provided in the letter that he needs an ARC after a removal order, he made a refugee claim but was denied, he was given a date to leave canada and strictly complied to the deadline.

i thought that a removal order is only issued to those who overstayed?

my question is if we are to file a conjugal application do we still have to get an ARC? any idea on how to get one and how much??? help please please please! :'(

read here that a written approval to return to canada is no longer needed if it is a departure order and not a deportation order, is there any possibility that the IO just made a mistake on his trv application? :'(

The question is, did he report to Immigration when he left Canada? If he didn't confirm his departure, his departure notice, turned into a deportation order. Also a previous refugee claimant has close to a nil chance of getting a TRV to return to Canada to visit.

he did reported, and we have a certificate of departure, sooo confused why an autjorization to return is needed when its clearly stated in the manual that you dont need it when its a departure order?

any chance i could have the letter of refusal changed since it will be attached to our conjugal partnership application?
