hello
well i got rejection in my first time in september after applying for student visa to canada
and the reson was because i did not convince the embassy that i will get back to my country after finishing my course
i am going to apply in october but i am fear of falling in the same problem
please can someone help me and provide me with any suggestion or solution for this problem

my funds were 15000 canadian dollars
and the callege name is pera college in bc vancouver
i want to study esl english as a second language
 
What ties did you show to your home country?
 
i did not show any ties
i just show a transcript of my institut here in algeria
and i also wrote a ENGAGEMENT
i think they r enough ???

just tell me did you apply under SPP or general?

Hi,

I can only say that you should drop the idea of ESL, and take another academic course (relevant to your prior academics) in Canada.

ESL is just for 7 or 8 months and you are from a 3rd World country, in such situation it becomes very difficult to convince Visa officer of your intention to return back to your Country.
Its really not possible to get a visa just by "meeting the basic requirements".


You have already been refused in your first attempt to get visa and you must admit the consideration behind your refusal. I do not think if you should apply again for ESL.


You are talking about how to show family ties in Algeria. Well, its not like a written proof to show family ties. Such things comes "out of your application and your profile". Family ties is more like a conclusion coming out of your papers like your academics performance, financial standing, proposed course in Canada, your work experience (if any), level of your family establishment etc in Algeria.


*I am not an expert, just a student so I may be wrong with my views.

I am still waiting for my visa.

I did nothing to convince Visa officer of my intention to return back to my country. Its the duty of Visa Officer to make such conclusion.

I am a prospective MBA student of one of the leading Canadian business school. I hold two degrees and served in the Indian Army for two years.

hey perisa5

i believe your funds that you have shown, are just at the border line. Try and increase them by $8,000 to $10,000 at least......

but i think my funds are not the problem
because my course coast just 2600 canadian dollar and i showed fifteen thousand canadian dollar and my course will be just for 3 months
so don't you think that they are enough and more ?
