Dear fellows,

Do you know any case that has been rejected due to the correction of a mistake in the already submitted forms to the Canadian High commission?

I am unable to sort this matter even after weeks of thinking. I wrongly filled a clause in my forms and I want to update the embassy for this. But I know a few cases where CHC-london hass rejected applications because of the incomplete and late submitted forms(120 days elapsed), I believe there is a risk they might reject my application due to INCOMPLETENESS.

Since, I am in the advance stage of immigration process ie even I received my provisional acceptance letter submission of my application on time which clearly stated taht I will receive my medicals in the next few months, I am unable to decide, whether my application will be rejected because of this or not.

Please help, I badly need your advice.

Regards

Hi Khalid,

Can you tell the what mistake you made ? It really depends how big the mistake is and if its a mistake in filling the forms it can always be corrected by sending the updated form.

It is just that I did not provide the details of a Student visa rejection by confusing the term "Temporary Resident Visa". I thought it is a different type of visa than the Student because normally all other embassies uses the term Student Visa for it. I ticked the clause No by mistake :S. The rejection is not risky, it is just a normal rejection of section 14 b, which doesnt have anything related with security threat.

I am only worried about the incomplete forms thing, I feel like they might reject my application on the basis of incomplete forms

making a correction is different from submitting missing documents. so i dont think they will reject your application because of late submission. inform VO asap.

Should I send the updated form? or just an email would be fine?

God, How things shape up complex when a person is stuck himself, I helped many on issues like this correctly and now that I am stuck I am getting confused by so many small things.

May God help me !!

Hi,

You can advise visa office about this now there is no harm in it. Just fill the form again and send it with a cover letter that you mis interpreted the term before and now you realize that you answered it incorrectly. This does not come in 120 days, you have already submitted the form this will just count as an update on your circumstances. You can leave it as it is but i fear that if they come to know about this it might raise questions which you dont want. So better to inform them ASAP. Send them the form and letter by post.

Cheers

send updated form(s) with an explanatory note.

Dear Saki and Mis,

thank you for your valuable opinions, I will post the form along with a cover letter and rejection letter of the embassy.
