Help please regarding record of employment(roe)

Hello guys.. I am going to be eligible for CEC soon. I just want to know about the record of employment .do we have to submit with our application ?? Or just in the letter of employment , can we mention that" ...... Has worked from march 2 2011 to April 3 2012? Mu letter will state everything in the checklist. So just the reference letter would be sufficient for my "1 year of employment proof".

ROEs are only issued when there is a work stoppage (e.g. you quit, get laid off, etc.). So if you continue to work for the same employer, there will be no ROE. Your Letter of Employment will be enough (provided of course that it contains all the required details).

Note that the Letter of Employment is not the only "proof" tho - you will also need your most recent T4 and Notice of Assessment from the CRA. (If you have not yet received your first NOA, you can apply anyway, just include a note saying you will forward that as soon as you get it).

If you haven't filed your taxes yet, do it ASAP.
