Hi Qorax

Sorry to border you, Please i need your opinion.
My brother sent an application in 2008 a month before the new system of application starts. Now he thinks he can't wait any longer seeing most of his friend that apply after him having visa already and it might take him another 4-5years to get there, so he feels he can apply again without withdrawing the initial application.
My own concern is if will can work that way. Hope it won't jeopardize his application to Canada? Also he is married with a kid now, so i am thinking maybe his wife could be the principal applicant of the new application he intend to do or should he continue with the initial one and inform them at the visa office of his marital status. Though the wife might not score as high as the husband but she will bit the pass mark.

If he sent in an application prior to Feb 2008, then he may apply with the new system. He will be required to withdraw one of the application later.

Not sure how it is if he sent it between Feb and Nov 2008.

Hey, i thought i saw the rule that one may apply again after feb 2008 even if the applicant has an application in before feb 2008. But i am not able to find that now. Perhaps you should wait for more people to reply.
