I am currently in Canada with my husband and have been here for 13 months. I entered with just a stamped passport and then renewed after 6 months. My current visa was extended for one more year. I applied for permanent residence. I am wanting to go back to the US to visit my family as soon as possible. Is it possible to leave Canada while the application is processing? If so, what are the chances of being denied?
Also, when I have to renew my visa in June, should/can I renew for the multiple entry visa instead of what I have now?
