***HELP - Pakistani Applying for Immigration from Riyadh with Family***

Hello,

I want to apply for Canadian Immigration , below are my details for quick suggestions and feedback:

1. MS in Information Security - 18 years of Education
2. 9 Years of Professional Experience
3. Wife is Bachelors in Computer Software Engineering

I want to immigrate to Canada with my wife. I tried the online assessment for Federal Skilled Worker and it says that you are not eligible.

For temporary work , the assessment was positive.

My Question:
1. I want To Immigrate to Canada and want to live on permanent basis. Do i need to apply for temporary work visa and then apply for permanent visit when i am there? or can i apply directly as both my qualification and work experience both are good.
2. Can i apply for my wife the same time? If yes, would it be Open Work Permit?

Note: I donot have any job offer from Canada right now, i intend to seek it when i am there.

You don't qualify to apply for a work permit until you have a job offer in Canada and your employer has an approved LMIA. So if you want to go the work permit route, you'll need to find a job and employer in Canada first. If you are able to obtain a skilled or semi-skilled job in Canada, then your wife will qualify to apply for an open work permit (note this doesn't mean she will be approved - but she can certainly apply).
