Help! Not eligible for Express Entry!

Hi Guys,

Can any of you guys give me an opinion on what needs to be changed so this profile goes into Express Entry? We don't even get a score.

We upload my profile to the express entry skilled worker program and was considered INELIGIBLE>

25 years old, single.

English Test : Speaking 7 , Listening 7. reading 6, writing 6.5. OVERALL 6.5 ( IELTS General training helded on Fabruary 7 2015)

1.7 years of work experience in my country. (NOC 1123) Occupation 1123 - Professional occupations in advertising, marketing and public relation.

4 year Bachelors degree in my country ( ECA assessment completed in February 2015) and 1 year post-degree diploma in marketing (Canadian
college in BC)

No job Offer

30K+ Funds

No nomination from the Province

Intended to live in British Columbia

Seems to have the minimum requirements to be eligible. However profile does not enter the pool as profile is considered ineligible.

Does someone have an explanation for this?

ielts must be overall band of 7

Overall Ielts play no role in Express Entry. I had 7 in first attempt but ineligible because i didn't meet with 67 points for FSW.

Based on the information you provided, my calculations toward you achieving "67" points are as follows:

2. Education
Two or more Canadian post-secondary degrees or diplomas or equal (at least one must be for a program of at least three years) 22 points
3. Work Experience
1.7 years (NOC 1123) = 9 points
4. Age
25 years = 12 points
5. Arranged Employment in Canada
0 points
6. Adaptability
0 points

You have not reached the needed 67 points minimum to be eligible under FSW category, and think this is the reason your profile is not eligible. As was suggested by another member, you can re-take the IELTS test to increase your score. The maximum points that you can get for Language is 28, so you have room to get 9 more points.
