Hi

I am father of 2 kids and had landed in Canada in 2005. following is the status:-

1. My PR cards (along-with family) were expired in May Last year
2. One of my sons is born in Canada and travel with Canadian Passport.
3. I could not stay in Canada for more than 6 months due to family reasons (aged parents and my mother pass-away last year)
4. My wife's parents (PR card holders) live in Canada with their son (who is a Canadian citizen)

Please advise if I can renew my PR card in the existing circumstances.

Your response and guidence will be highly appreciated

Thanks and Regards

Hi There:

Thanks for a quick reply. Would you just share the sequence of events I should go through

1. Application to IAD
2. Decision on my status
3. Surrender the PRC

Further, how would I apply for IAD if I am outside Canada? Can I submit the application in one of Canadian Embassies. Do I need to hire some lawyer or consultant for this?

Knowing that it varies on case-to-case basis but what is the success rate of such applicatoins as of now.

Thanks
