Hello everyone,

One of my friends is on a PGWP which is expiring on July 4th 2016, and her company is ready to do the LMIA for her. My question is while her LMIA is in process can she change her status to visitor and stay in Canada?

Any opinions/suggestions welcome.

If she can apply for extension of PGWP before it expires, she can work legally on implied status until a decision on extension of PGWP is made, after which she will have 90 days to apply for visitors.
