Hello,

My cousin owns a fishing lodge in Ontario and has invited me to work there waitressing during the summer.

I have had a look at how to apply for a work visa but am still very confused and wondered if anyone could tell me if i could get a visa and how I go about it?

I am in the UK, 22 and graduated from university in July if this makes any difference.

Thanks

1. Your cousin would have to get a Labour Market Opinion from HRSDC that there are no Canadians/PRs available for the job. See: http://www.rhdcc-hrsdc.gc.ca/eng/workplaceskills/foreign_workers/fwp_forms.shtml Going to be extremely difficult.
2. If you are UK citizen your best bet would be to get an IEC open work visa, good for a year. http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/united_kingdom-royaume_uni/experience_canada_experience/index.aspx
apply early they are going fast.
