Help needed in applying appropriate WP/VISA

Hi - I am currently in India, I applied online for a job in Canada and the employer is ready to hire me.

Now I need to know if i need to apply a for Open WP or VISA.

I need to be able to work for different employers. I am familiar US visa's

With US VISA with L1 - You can work only for that employer who is processing your L1
With H1 - You can work for different employers (I mean you change jobs)

Can someone please advice what VISA/WP should i apply fro CANADA , so that i can work for different employers.

There is no way for you to obtain a work permit that will let you work for different employers.

Your employer will first need to obtain an approved Labour Market Opinion before you can apply for a work permit. You do not qualify to apply for an open work permit. If your employer is able to obtain an approved LMO, then the only work permit you will qualify to apply for is a close work permit. A closed work permit only allows you to work for that specific employer and that specific job.

There is no work permit you qualify to apply for that will allow you to work for different employers. If you come to Canada on a close work permit and decide you want to change to a different employer, then your new employer will need to obtain an new approved LMO and then you will need to apply for a new closed work permit.
