Help needed about the online status - Thank you all :)

I was looking at the excel sheet from the forum here and I had a few questions regarding the online status. My application was received on July 22nd and the status had changed to "in process" on Jan 5th. Online status shows that a letter acknowledging receipt of my application was sent on Sept. 17th and I never got it...

AOR Rec'd - what does it mean?

Rec'vd line disappeared - what does it mean?

At what stage CIC is going to send the study guide for the knowledge test? Or CIC won't send the hard copy and I should just study from the link CIC sent me through email?

Since I didn't get the letter acknowledging receipt of my application, I'm just worried that the letter for the test date may get lost somehow. Is the online status going to show if the test date is set and the letter is sent?

AOR received means that either you receive a letter by mail or by email acknowledging that your application has been received and all documents are complete. If you receive email AOR then it will have link for online study guide. In that case they won't send you paper AOR (Acknowledgement of receipt)

Received Line disappear means nothing however, it might be an indication that they have transferred file to local office but again its just a assumption, no one really knows what it really means.

When you have already seen your application status online, it means that cic is already working on your application. They will update ecas for test date invite (sometimes they don't). You can call cic call centre to ask if any test has been scheduled or not.
