I got a job offer from a NGO.
The position is NOC level B category and full time.
They are giving per houe salary and paystubs.

But, they told me I will be given a independent contractor position for 1 and half year and I will have to pay own taxes and year end.

Will I be able to use this job as canadian work experience to apply for PR after one year?

If you’re going to be self employed /contractor and your income will be over $30k over four rolling calendar quarters , you must register for a GST/HST account with the CRA as well . If you don’t you will be registered by the CRA , sent a letter , and be subject to any penalties and interest for non registration
As well you will not qualify for any EI programs if you should be laid off
