Hello,

Did Anybody applied PR from India ? After getting passport request, How did you change the Visa office to new delhi ?
Also please let me know how much time it takes for the passport to be returned after submission to the delhi visa office

Just drop standard email..

Format as below ..

UCI number : xxxxxxxx
Application number: xxxxxxxxx

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is to respectfully inform your office that I am currently located in India and therefore (because of the Indian law) would not be able to mail his passport to Ottawa.

We would like to respectfully request that the office responsible for processing and finalizing the application of visa to my passport is changed to Visa Office in New Delhi.

Please kindly inform on the steps we need to follow in order to accommodate that request.

In my case they changed office in four days.. I did submit passport on Monday via vas as suggested by cic.. Looks like it will take 10-15 days.

Thanks rosticraphel for your reply. So you sent the passport thru VFS global, right ? so Do you get it back directly to your home address or go and collect it from VFS global again.

To get it to home address you need to pay extra fees but yes they can deliver it to your home address.. You can also pickup from their location
