if u feel i wont get visa means be frank to say
Hi,
1. You have already reached final year... Will it be wise to leave at this point? And, it's not at all recommended to HIDE B.E degree. 4 years is a long time. You must complete the B.E degree and try your best to get at least 55-60% (in the final 2 years). Academic marks and consistent performance are one of the biggest factors, the Visa Officers (VOs) at the Canadian High Commission (CHC) look at. Although numerous backlogs are never good, still your first focus should be to get the B.E degree, with 55-60% in the final 2 years. If it's below 50% (in the final 2 years of your B.E and the final certificate on which class is based), chances are very low to get the visa. Apart from the academics, you need to have sufficient proof, that you have enough money to fund your studies and maybe an IELTS score of at least 6 or 6.5
2. Do you think, pilot training is easy? Have you thought about the future? What are your long term goals? Do you want to stay in Canada? Are you aware that... After completion of MOST pilot training courses from the Private Flying schools in Canada, you will NOT be eligible for a Post Grad work permit (PGWP), and hence no way to apply via any student immigration. For example, if you see the website of Winnipeg Aviation - a Flying School in Manitoba province, Canada... they clearly mentioned that students MUST return back to their home country... (as part of the visa issue conditions) -

Even, if you are allowed to stay back with a job... you will have to find a pilot job with a Canadian employer willing to recruit and sponsor you and got through a series of long immigration formalities... just to recruit you... when they can easily recruit a Canadian. And with a Canadian pilot qualification, when you return back to India, do you know... how tough it is to clear the DGCA pilot conversion exam? Instead, you can study pilot training at any of the reputed and recognizing Flying Schools in India... or try to join Airforce or look for Airline training cum recruitment advertisements where the airline itself will give you pilot training+ after training, secured direct placement in their airline as an entry level assistant/junior pilot. Such training cum recruitment drives are conducted my most of profitable airlines every 2 years or so and are very very popular. Some time back, GO Air in India did start such training cum placement program in association with a reputed flying school.
3. If you did consider doing Masters in Engineering and/or other study course..then it would be more viable as, you would be eligible for OCWP/PGWP and hence a chance to live there, find work and apply for immigration.
Think clearly and take a wise decision.
Best of Luck.
