So I worked for Barclays, third party office for about 2 years and 9 months. Initial 11 months I used to work on the basic of mortgage application and just verify documents. Later on I was sent to training for a Mortgage Underwriter (mandate as the letter states) and cleared the same. I received a letter confirming the same which also states that I work as an Advance Mandate for Barclays even though technically I worked in the third party company and was not employed by direct Barclays.
I worked as an Underwriter for nearly 18 months.
As an Underwriter, I used to review and process the Mortgage application, check if the applicants were eligible for the mortgage, sanction or decline the application accordingly. I also used to check all the documents submitted, verify the authenticity of the same, check the credit score of the applicants and also other financial commitments.
My first doubt is the NOC code. Based on the Title NOC 1114 matches correctly, however the duties are not mentioned for the same which has left me in a bit of a fix.
I also checked few other NOC codes but either the duties are nit mentioned entirely or the Title doesn't match my job description.
My second question is will they consider the entire 33 months as an experience under NOC 1114 or just 18 months? So based on that I can check if I complete the 3 years criteria.
