No .

You cannot apply , because for applying you need to get minimum 6 bands in all the modules. You need to give the test again.

Answer is NO - Since 6 is the minimum score allowed for ALL four sections, your score is ineligible

Will 0.5 points also matter for immigration?I am getting maximum scores in all other factors but I secured 5.5 in writing.kindly advice.I am not sure that if I write again ,will I get less or more.

Yes. 0.5 matters. Unless you score a "6" in all four categories, you must retake it again or your file will be 100% rejected automatically.

Sir I want to ask:

I need 18 points for my application. If my score is 6.0, 6.0, 6.5. 6.5, would it make any difference to the points or should I get to level 8? I think I can't make it to level 8 even though I'm reviewing so hard.

Points per ability (speaking, listening, reading, writing)
Level 7 6.0 6.0 6.0 6.0 =4 per ability
Level 8 6.5 7.5 6.5 6.5 =5 per ability (unrealistically difficult goal, but I seal the deal If I get this)

It depends on where section you score the 6.5 on. If you score a 6.5 on Reading, Writing, and Speaking - you get 5 points. If you score 6.5 on Listening - you get 4 points - which you make your total 17 instead of a 18.

They are scored individually -

For example:

Listening 6 = 4 points
Reading 6.5 = 5 points
Writing 6.5 = 5 points
Speaking 6 = 4 points

This combination will get you the 18 points you need.

Well,I have been told that I need CLB 9 to migrate to canada under FSW. So, CLB 9 is
Listening- 8
Writing-7
Reading-7
Speaking-7
and my points now for FSW are 44 and if I get CLB 9 in IELTS it will be 24 so total 68.

My Question is if my score is
Listening-7.5
Writing-7
Reading-7
Speaking-7

What will be my calculation and will I still be eligible to migrate under FSW? Or will I have to re- appear for the test till i get Listening-8?

Listening 7.5 = 5 points
Writing 7 = 6 points
Reading 7 = 6 points
Speaking 7 = 6 points

Total = 23 points.

If this is your score, you'd be eligible for FSW because 44 + 23 = 67

There are various combinations (as long as all of them are above "6") in which you can get 23 points on your IELTS because they sections are counted individually.
