I sent my full documents to the Accra office more than one week ago!!.In a cover letter I also wrote that I had changed my email address.I was promised that an acknowledgement will be sent to me.I am yet to receive any acknowledgement by post or email.Should I start to fret again .I have been very scared that they might have decided not to honor my application again without even telling me again. Is there any reason to start fretting again ?

Relax mate, 1 week is not a long time... it generally takes on an average 2 months before you can expect an update on your case. Are you following ECAS- it generally is a good indicator when there's a progress on your case.
About the acknowledgement, I am not too sure. I never received any acknowledgement from the CHC that they have received my documents. You can send them an email to enquire about the acknowledgement and email address update if you wish- but you should wait at least another week. My suggestion. Relax and take care.

Ok thanks I can wait for the second week (next thursday).I am already getting discouraged and pessimistic about the whole thingy,Suppose I don't have a success story like many of the folks here?

promised by whom? you mean your consultant (if you are using one)? by the way, one week is too early to start getting paranoid. so just chill out and relax.

If you look at Trackitt http://www.trackitt.com/canada-immigration-trackers/federal-skilled-workers It seems to average about 45 days for the AOR at Accra.
