help!! Im planning to get married in japan in a few months

Im planning to get married in a few months from now so I'm stressing out what I need to do. what do i need to bring with me to get married and do i have to get married in a certain part of japan or can i get married in her hometown which is kochi, Japan. I've read I have to bring some documents with me but if someone can lead me in the right direction and tell me exactly what i need that would be very helpful I want to make sure i have all the proper documents when i go there. thanks....

hi thanks for the reply I just want to know about this affidavit for a proof of legally free to marry can i get this done in vancouver it says i have to go to the canadian embassy in tokyo. if anyone has got married in japan did you have to go to the embassy or can it be done in canada?
