Hello, well this topic is about me wanting to live in Canada (some day) i know it takes a while to get a permanent citizenship and that's even if you get permission.

I am UK citizen and i am wanting to move to Canada to work im not sure in what field just yet. I'm 18 and studying a level 2 diploma in professional cookery and food and beverage service and i also have a level 2 in food safety (i don't know what the equivalent would be). I have a total of 7 A-C GCSE's (high school qualifications) in
maths
English
science (chemistry, biology and physics)
Drama
Electronics
Religious studies
ICT (data handling and graphic design).

I have tried researching moving to Canada but its too easy to get stuffed with unnecessary information and it just totally confuses me so i was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction!!! it would be much appreciated :D

Welcome to the club!!! Try doing a search for "working holiday". I think you will find that helpful. Good luck.

Lol. You kids just want it so easy! Only pulling your leg. I admire your spirit as I love to travel, but doubt I would have had the courage to move to England at your age. Do a search on the main forum page, top right corner white box. Also search on CIC website. You have NO idea how fortunate you are to come from a visa exempt country and to have the opportunity to apply for a working holiday visa. Give thanks and do your homework. Having chosen the field of cookery you will find a number of vacancies for cooks when you get here. All the best!
