Highly unlikely you would qualify for express entry at 18. Have you researched the immigration programs available? That would be step #1.

Since you are jus 18 then I assume you don't have much points... Since you haven't gone through university studies, etc. If you can afford, I would recommend going for studies in Canada, this way you will get more points for Canadian education + post graduate work permit. Being on it, you can look for a skilled Canadian job and then apply for PR. It's definitely one of the easiest routes.

With a foreign high school diploma it's pretty much impossible to find a job in Canada. Not even unskilled. The employer has to sponsor you and prove to the government that there's no Canadian citizen or PR to fill that job. So... It's super super super unlikely...

In your case, I'd just finish high school, get into university in your home country (probably it will be way cheaper than education in Canada), then study English to get maximum point in IELTS, maybe find a full-time job (skilled)? at home and only then apply for immigration to Canada. The process is looooong, expensive and hard. But it's possible. Just need to focus.

i spent most of my studies in the U.S such as elementerary-high school for some grades do you think my chances are better if i were to get my PR through a parent instead of doing it independent since i have no skill at jobs or enough points for education.

Are your parents Canadian citizens? Where are you from? Not sure what is driving the need to move to Canada ASAP.

If your parents are not Canadian citizens then it doesn't matter where you lived/studied. Everyone is evaluated equally.
