Help! i am on young professional and want to change employer

Hi all,

i am german and on my young professional visa in canada. now my employer has financial issues and let go most of my co-workers. I am pretty nervous now and not sure if this situation is a reason for cic to change my employer. i was not let go yet but eventually the company is not save for the next month. is there any place i can go to get some more information or a contact online? i couldn't find anything like this on the website.
