Hey guys im hoping you can help me. My husband's file was originally being processed in Berlin but as of May2012 they transferred it to Vienna cuy apparently the office in Berlin is closed.
I ordered caip notes and im tryin to understand what this sentence below means exactly.

''Request for updated German PC sent (what is PC?) enclosed as well as info on file transfer. Also sent the RPRF letter for sponsor.'' this was dated may15,2012.

Does anybody have a clue what it could possible mean? My husband has done his medicals and his interview long time ago and we've just been waiting.

any ideas ?

thanks in advance.

did you pay the rprf fee up front or they may be requesting it now....if a letter has been sent to the sponsor about it, I would think that means they require payment or if you paid later they may need a receipt as proof of payment......

i dint pay the fee upfront so i guess i should expect a letter soon. Does this mean were one step closer to this case being closed n my husband i being reunited? i mean why would they ask for the fee right?

not sure.....usually good sign however it may delay the process by a month or so......by the time CIC and the VO both acknowledge receipt of payment it is usually a month to two........that is why it is suggested to pay up front.....

my timeline is quite long.
I filed the app for my husband end of March 2010. There has been some complications with respect to medicals not being added to the file and etc. And now our file is transferred to Vienna so im hopin it will all be over soon. My husband did and interview last september and we have yet to hear back from them. so stressful.
:(

Your husband is on the verge of being approved. Look out for the letter to pay the RPRF, but go ahead and do it, you don't need to wait for the letter. Also he needs to get a new German police certificate, so he should get on that. Send him proof of the RPRF payment so he can submit it with the new police certificate.

i was thinking about doing that as well. im currently in germany with him so i will try to do it with him.
thnx for the advice.
i really hope we're close to the finish line ;D
