Citizenship, you can only count days within the last 4 years before you apply. In this period, you must have 1095 or more.
30 days in Canada with PR is counted as 30 days in Canada. If you were in Canada before getting PR (but within the last 4 years) then 30 days is counted as 15 days towards citizenship.
If you took a trip outside Canada, one of your travel days counts within Canada and the other not, that is, you count the nights you were away. This is different from the PR residency requirements where both travel days count as within Canada.
