help how did day count days for citizienship

Citizenship, you can only count days within the last 4 years before you apply. In this period, you must have 1095 or more.
30 days in Canada with PR is counted as 30 days in Canada. If you were in Canada before getting PR (but within the last 4 years) then 30 days is counted as 15 days towards citizenship.
If you took a trip outside Canada, one of your travel days counts within Canada and the other not, that is, you count the nights you were away. This is different from the PR residency requirements where both travel days count as within Canada.

i came to canada 2007 get my PR jan 2011 i never get out of status on till i got my PR but cic told me they give me one year credit out of 3 years to become citizen which main i can apply for citizineship after 2 years i got my PR but i will like to go out for 30day if i went out for 30 days how many days did i need to get my 30 days back someone said i need 60 day to get 30days back if i went for 10days i need 20 days to get the 10 days back is that right? but i didnt see any were cic said this on there website

Ahh, so you were in Canada before getting PR but you made a trip of 30 days away after you got your PR?
The way you calculate is like this:
2 years before getting PR are worth 365 days towards citizenship
2 years after getting PR make up 730 days towards citizenship
If you never left Canada, you can apply after 2 years as a PR.
If you left for 30 days after getting PR, you still have 365 from your two years before PR but you have only 700 from the next 2. If you stay 30 days longer, you would have 730 days as a PR but now some of your 365 days before you got PR do not fall inside the 4 year period any more so you lose 15 days there. That is why you would have to stay 60 days longer, to make up for the time you lose because it does not fall within the last 4 years any more.
Use the citizenship calculator on the CIC website and it is better to wait a few more days to be certain that you have enough days than to apply too early.

They will still count most of the year they are giving you for credit but because you can only count the 4 years before you apply for citizenship, your time will start to expire day by day.
Like I explained to you before, if you leave for 30 days and then just stay 30 days longer, you will have lost 15 days from your free year so you will still be 15 days short. If you stay 60 days longer, you will be ok so leaving for 30 days will delay the time you can apply for citizenship by 60 days in your case.

They will not look at any time spent in Canada that was more then 4 years ago. They will only look at the previous 4 years before you apply. If you have 1095 days or more in Canada during this time, you are ok. If you have less, they will send your file to a citizenship judge, it will take probably take an extra year to process and you will be called for an interview to explain what makes you so special that other rules should apply to you than everybody else.

I am roughly about 40 days short of the 4 year time period. can i still apply for citizenship?

If you mean you want to apply before you have been a PR for 4 years, that is you have your 1095 days or more in Canada in the past 3-4 years, you are ok.
If you mean that you only have 1055 days in Canada in the past 4 years, you are better to wait your 40 days. You can still apply but your application will be delayed by much more than the 40 days while they decide what to do with it. You may have to wait an extra year, in the end it goes to a judge and you will be called for an interview to explain what makes you so special that you should get citizenship without meeting the same requirements as everyone else.

now since it is matter of 40 days i was thinking to give it a shot. but what i read was that if you apply the application gets delayed and then interview gets called.
now i am confused that if i dont apply then do i first have to get my pr renewed next year and then start all over again to live for 3 more years and then apply for citizenship ?
