help guys! i am hopeless!!!

Hey guys, it s with a lot of pain that i am writing this thread , in fact, i have been asked to take additional medical tests by CIC , though the doctor told me that everything was fine , i am confused and i don't know what to say , but the most terrible situation is that , on jan 13th when i was ready to board a plane at a transit aiport from china to my home , i received a call from EMS indicating that they have a courier for me from CIC , i was unable to collect it and they warned me that if i do not collect it in 15 days they will return it back to CIC, but i was on my way home , no way to get it ,and i couldn' t allow it to go back to CIC , so i authorized a chinese friend to collect it and open it then tell me what is written , well the most painful thing is that she opened the ems envelope and the SEALED ENVELOPE addressed to the DMP! before calling me to tell me what it was about . she had already opened all! i just arrived to my hometown , am on the shock now , first because i just got 30 days to visit the DMP again , which i can't do , because the airline doesn t agree to fly me back to china before feb 25rd my original booking( my deadline to visit the DMP should be february 6th) , second because the DMP sealed envelope is opened now , and third, i just can t understand why the DMP told me evrything was fine and now it 's like this , Guys am fustrated to tears , please help if you can.
I wanna write to the CHC beijing to tell them about this is it ok?
has anyone ever unsealed the confidential DMP letter? what happened next?
Do you think the CHC can give me an extension ? till when i get back home?
Is it over for me?

Did they say that you should go back to the same DMP. if no, then maybe you can go to a different DMP in the country you are in now. but wait for others to reply. because i am no expert.

Zagalo,

Sad to hear your situation. I am surprised why the CIC would send the DMP note to you. Though not personally in the same situation, I would suggest

• Call the CIC, try to see if you can call the within Canada number - 1 888 242‑2100, have someone call or maybe try Skype. Explain the situation to them and seek next steps. Did you file in CIC Beijing? If so they may know best and they might be the source of the mail or maybe they are aware of it.
• Why not talk to your DMP and have your friend deliver the note addressed to DMP and maybe they have experience on such cases?

I would suggest not to Panic.

Again the above are solely my suggestions and would be my reaction based on your situation.

yes they asked me to go to the same DMP
well and i thought of contacting the DMP to explain this to her i am home now and i will call her there in China to explain , if she insists that she will report, then i may go further and contact CIC to tell them,does this sound good? meanwhile, has anyone in this forum ever made the same mistake? what did you do?
On the other hand , i absolutely need an extension , i can' t be back to china before feb 25th and then visit DMP next day(20 days after the deadline), where can i send my request of extension ? to my local visa office or Ottawa ? who can authorize me to extend the time?

You better first call the DMP,fix an appointment at the earliest possible time.Let the DMP know the urgency in the matter. Once in the DMP's office,explain word by word of what transpired.This is likely going to resolve the opening of the sealed DMP's letter issue(hopefully).The CIC has asked you to have additional medical test,this probably, the DMP may not explain the exact reason,You have no choice but re taking the medical test.For the extension issue,If it really happens that you have no time,then you might have to write to CIC Beijing office requesting extension,since the request for additional medical test originated from that office.With a properly drafted letter of explanation,your request might be granted (hopefully).Remember to attach a copy of your flight tickets, showing take off and landing dates...These are all personal opinions!! Hope it works out well for you.
