I got a visa for a program in Software Engineering of 3 years. The first semester I had a very good grades. But in second one, I failed 3 courses. In that semester, I had total 17 credits but my passed subject credit is only 6 credits. For failing 3 courses, I was discontinued. But, my program coordinator allowed me to take a total of 10 credits in current term and the 3 failed courses has 11 credits in total which I will take in Winter 2022. But, my transcript may or may not say that I was discontinued. I had 48, 51 and 38 marks in those 3 failed courses and in two passed course, I have 87 and 83 marks.

I am planning to retake those 3 courses in Winter 2022, and continue on with that. But I found another course, that has exact same courses as I am currently studying and is 2 years program. And I am planning to change the course to 2 years one. This way I wont have to extend my study permit and the 2 year program will be completed on same time as my visa expires. Yes, it will take total of 3 years from the date my visa was issued to complete 2 year course.

Now, my concern is after I complete the program, will I be eligible for PGWP? Or will it be directly rejected. I am worried that if discontinuance is printed on my transcript my PGWP will be rejected.
