Hi everyone,

I am a bit anxious about LMIA and my employer mailed the LMIA application to the office on Sep.8 (maybe Sep.9). It's almost three weeks and my employer hasn't heard anything or get any call from the office. Btw, my hired position is early childhood teacher assistant and the wage is not high. Is it possible for me to get the positive LMIA?

Processing time is more like 6 to 16+ weeks. It's not at all surprising your employer hasn't heard anything back yet. It's far too early.

Hey Yuki, it is always good if your employer can call service canada and ask if it is under process. Coz i have waited for a month and then i got a reply from SC saying the application is incomplete and stuff. Good luck with it

Dear,

Thank you for letting me know about it. I will post the updated information. BTW, what kind of position did you apply for?

all the best
Yuki

My position is a 3D Animator in Toronto. NOC - 5241. Advertising not required for this job, thought it would be simple. But its just worst with the changes and the way service Canada is acting . I would suggest you should ask your employer to keep a track and keep contacting service canada.
