Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hello guys, thanks for taking the time to read this.

Currently I'm working in Canada and I'm starting to prepare papers to apply for permanent resident, but I have some questions regarding this application form and the CIC guide is quite unclear. How should I fill these questions if I'm currently working in Canada?

Question 3a
Do you have an offer of employment in Canada? Been working in Canada since September 2013.

Question 3b
Did your employer obtain a LMO? Same answer than question 3a.

Question 9
Have you previously worked full-time in Canada for at least one year in an occupation that is listed in Skill Type O or Skill Levels A or B of the 2011 version of the National
Occupational Classification? Should I say yes? I've been here in Canada more than a year now.

Question 11
Assets, Liabilities and Settlement funds What should I fill in here? I don't have any assets or liabilities, for settlement funds should I write my current savings balance?

Question 12
Your Work Experience I'm an IT Consultant my NOC code would be 2171. My question goes to the part B. I've been working on the same since my first job, should I write every employer I had or just how much time I've been working on the same occupation? In that case would be from X date to NO END DATE because I'm still working on the same Occupation, right?.

Thanks for taking the time to read all of this and for helping me with this.

Cheers,

Adolph

For the first 3 questions, you should answer truthfully. Meaning, whatever your situation is. Since the generic form is universal for all the different categories of immigration, these questions help CIC evaluate if the applicant qualifies for any of the programs that the applicant applied for.

You are right on the settlement funds. For asset and liabilities, write 0.

You should separate each employer or even different positions or job titles you held within the same employer even though they might all belong to the same NOC. As for the current position, you can simply write the date that you sign the application. I don't think you can write till date.

Also, if you have a permanent job offer with an approved LMO, why not apply through the arranged employment category? There is no fear of being out of cap if you do so, otherwise it might tight for 2171.

Guys,
What shall I write for question 4 in form IMM0008ENU_2D?
