Help! CIC requested a police check letter for a place I've never been

Hi all,

I got a request today from CIC for a police check for EL Salvador. I've never been and have no ties with the country. I'm also certain that my application was filled in correctly and this is just a clerical error.

What should I do? Should I just attach a LOE instead of the police check?

Obviously you won't get a pcc for a country you never visited. So write an loe.
