Hi!
I've been trying to come up with a study plan that makes sense for Immigration purposes and, at the same time, gives me a good chance to get a 2-3 year PGWP + good career prospects. However, I'm still not sure what to do.
My profile:
- I just graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from brazil
- I have 21 months of experince with conflict resolution / conciliation from working as an intern for the government
- IELTS 6.5 with no band below 6.0
- I don't want a career as a lawyer. I think about working for the government; non-profit agencies; working in research; something like that...
I've thought about completing two 1-year postgrad programs in a row or applying for a Criminology Diploma in BC (because I'd like to study something related to social sciences). But I'm not sure if that could be a reason for visa denial or even if I'll be able to get a job afterwards. I have also applied for Masters programs but I'm not hopeful because my grades aren't high.
I'd REALLY appreciate some help, so if you've seen or are in a similar dilemma, please share your thoughts.
