Help- Cant see application status online

I applied for Canadian citizenship in august 2013 thru canada post, its been four months now but i can not check my application status online. Can anyone please help, i wonder have they received my application yet or not, is it normal? Please reply

Actually I'm outside canada and planning to stay for more than a year, i tried calling them but cic call centre service is for canada only Also i didn't receive letter from them as i moved couple of weeks after sending application in august 2013 , i also need to change my address with them.

Call and check did they receive. Online status is not 100% correct

Thankyou for replying, i called that number and found out that my application isnt in the system. They have opened the application send till september 20 , I send mine on august 16 so they must have opened mine. They said it could be that there was something missing in the application and they returned that, now i have moved from that address so cannot find out why it was sent back

The only thing i think of is maybe my language proof isnt acceptable. I submitted the result of Canadian Language Benchmark Placement Test which was held in Immigration Language & Vocational Assessment Refferral Centre Calgary. Can anyone tell is this acceptable language proof?

For the English language, only CELPIP-G and IELTS are accepted.

If you failed to include one of these, then your application has been returned to you.

Yes - you can take IELTS in any country you wish.

General module only. You are extremely likely to get RQ now that they will be able to see you are in Canada. BTW, you should have provided your friends address as mailing address. I doubt they will send any docs to Pakistan.

RQ means wait up to 35 months for documents to be processed after submitting additional documents.
Search "RQ" you will find your answer.
