Just some background to get things to the point.
Me and my boyfriend have been together for 1.5years together, currently living together
I am Canadian born citizen and he is from China currently on international student VISA to study in university, he will graduate in 4 years
Me and my boyfriend both don't work, but his family is well-off enough to pay for our food and rent, basically we live off his family, I am studying in nursing and will graduate and work 1 year later approx~
We are deeply in love so I suggest we marry and he agreed without hesitation, afterall this is love, not much to think about. I just wish to be together forever as silly as this sounds so I would like to get him PR card so he can stay with me, he don't care if he stay in Canada or not as long as we are together. But i love my home country so I rather we stay here. I did read through the forum but its still confusing so I would appreciate some help/advices :(

1. Is it likely that he will be denied for PR card because I don't have income?
2. Do we need to order marriage certificate first before we apply for PR card?
3. He will be studying here for another 4 years so do I have to apply for inland/outland sponsership after we marry? If we do have to apply for one, which should I choose? He won't be working during his 4 years of study in Canada.

1. No, you will not be denied because you don't work. You could be denied if immigration thinks you are marrying just for papers.

2. You can apply to sponsor him for PR if you are either already married or you have lived together as a couple for at least 12 months (common law partnership).

3. It is up to you whether you apply inland or outland. However, keep in mind that if you apply inland, he must continue to reside in Canada until he gets his PR no matter what. If there is an emergency in his home country and he leaves Canada and for some reason is unable to return, he would lose his application. Outland through China takes about 13 months. Inland takes 26 months these days.

Thank you for answering me. What happens if we apply for his PR card and it gets declined? Would he lose his study permit status too? What is the chance of us succeeding in getting him a PR card, because I am not photogenic so i always refused to take photos together but I realized we need to submit photos of us together and we really don't have any but we spend so much time together chatting, calling on phone and play games together I don't know if this is adequate to prove we are serious. We are also young and haven't been together for many many years as others have i'm afraid we will be declined. What is the chance of us getting a PR card ?

You should join the Family Sponsorship section of this forum, there are many cases like yours there:
