I must be stupid....but I can't figure out how much fees I have to pay
My Canadian girlfriend is sponsoring me on an outland application in the family class. Fromthe site:
Sponsorship application (per application)
$75
Principal applicant
$475
A family member of the principal applicant who is 22 years of age or older, or is less than 22 years of age and is a spouse or common-law partner
$550
A family member of the principal applicant who is less than 22 years of age and is not a spouse or common-law partner
$150
So that is $475 + $75 = $550. So far so good. Now this is where I get confused. Do I pay another $550 for my girlfriend who is sponsoring me? After all, she is my family member and my common-law partner ("family member of the principal applicant who is 22 years of age or older, or is less than 22 years of age and is a spouse or common-law partner").
And I'm the only one paying the RFPF, right?
So, total $1040, $1590 or $2080?
