, I have started sponsoring my husband from Afghanistan the same time as other members in this forum,in October 2013, and the same as others I got letter that my application has been sent to India. In Feb. 15, 2014 I received an email on be half of my husband from Visa Office in India, asking for the Police Certificate and receipt of payment for Permanent Resident if I haven't sent it yet. I sent a photocopy of the above documents although I already had sent the actual documents with my husband application by Feb 18, 2014. After that i have not received any thing else...... I am confused why India Visa Office has asked for the police check up certificate and receipt of Permanent Resident Fee while I already had sent it to them. Also I do not know what will be the next step and how long it takes for my husband application to be processed ... If any one have any information or have the same case , I really appreciate your response?
