Our file was transferred October,2008 to Etobicoke local office. I received a mail today to come for interview with my wife. What should we prepare for?

prepare to answer alot of questions about eachother-so practise! fav colors, foods,tv shows, about eachothers families, dreams and plans you have together, which side of the bed eachother likes, fav hobbies.......... so on-they want to see if it is a genuine relationship and you should know alot about eachother. The only answers they have is on the papers you have given them already-and they will likely check the answers, the rest you can bs if you don't know the answer...just don't say"i don't know-make the best guess you can but PREPARE! they may ask about your relationship as well as some very personal questions so don't be shocked. Good luck

I'm sorry but advising someone to BS is not good.
Just be honest in all your answers. Sometimes they might just ask you something to trick you. BS'ing goes no where! If you are indeed in a genuine relationship they will see it in the way you talk and express yourself. Answer all questions truthfully and don't be nervous!

Agree wholeheartedly, if you don't know the answer, say you don't know, don't guess. Sure as fate if your spouse is interviewed separately (which is the usual method) s/he will say the exact opposite and then your application goes down the tube.

I agree completely. That's terrible advice!!! Good grief! They are not checking to see that your answers correspond to what they have on file only. They are checking to see if your answers match what your spouse says.
