BP was not detected when you did you Medicals.....so you are ok. Moreover, BP is very common and that would not pose any threat to any Canadian or to anybody.
So be happy... your BP will go down. Cheer up. Have a safe landing and wonderful stay in Canada.
BP medicines would need prescription. But yes there are bunch of other medicines that you could get over the counter. You can check online the category of medicines that are available over the counter.
When you land you will be eligible for Health care. You have to contact Canada Place for further details. Unfortunately I dont have a sound knowledge on this matter so I will refrain from giving advice. I am sure there will be other members on this Forum to guide you. Please wait for their response.
