hi

i started my qsw in 2011 and applied for the fsw in 2014
but in between i got married in dec2012 and only lived with my husband for 08 months and i travelled to canada in 2013 as a student.
i thought the law in canada required people to be have lived for at least 12 months before being considered married which is why i did not inform cic.

in 2014 i gave birth and i send the birth certificate to cic recently and now they want to know my matrimonial situation

please adviced me, i urgentlly need help, im in canada and my husband is back home

No - there is no law stating that you have to live together for 12 months to be considered married. You are confusing married with common law status. You should have said you were married when you applied for the student visa. You should let CIC know that you are married. Saying anything else would be misrepresentation / lying.
