Health Insurance for Int'l Students

Good day guys, I am in the process of applying for the study permit (already receive CAQ) for Quebec however, I want to know which company offers the best insurance policy for international students, preferably in Quebec (Montreal). I have been researching that but it seems that most companies are outside of Quebec and they require you to buy online. I dont mind buying online as long as there is a local office/representative I can get to for queries.

Any thoughts guys?

I am not sure if it is different for Quebec but in Ontario, your College/University has mandatory international student health insurance (usually included in the dues you pay to the school). Better to check with the institution you are going to attend.

Thats right. I would go up to the international student centre of my school and verify health insurance information first before opting to buy else where.

Thanks for the advice guys. It is somewhat different in Quebec, and especially since I will be attending a private institution. wever, I will contact the institution and ask for recommendation/
