Hi all,

I understand that a health certificate or rabies vaccination certificate is required if you are bringing a cat into the country. Does anyone know if the health check must be done within a certain timeframe? (e.g. within a month before the move). Any feedback is great. Thank you!

A google search will give you this page http://www.inspection.gc.ca/animals/terrestrial-animals/imports/policies/live-animals/pets/cats/not-recognized-as-rabies-free/eng/1364961486824/1364961633165

Specifically this section

Canada does not require a waiting period between the time the animal is vaccinated for rabies and the time the animal is imported into Canada.

Also assumption stated that vaccine is assumed valid for 12 months unless otherwise stated

Wow, I've looked at that page a dozen times and completely missed the square box. Thank you!!
