I am a firefighter with Federal Fire Service. one of the departments in our service is the paramedics department. When I checked the health care category I saw paramedical occupations as one of its sub occupations. I was in that department last year as an ambulance supervisor before moving to another department. So my question is...am I legible to apply under the health care category.
Moreso, my appointment letter does not bear ambulance service supervisor but the reference letter from my office will do the job of telling them I was in the paramedics before. Do I also need to submit a license or some Certifications when given ITA.

If you want to claim work experience as a paramedic you must have actually carried out these responsibilities in your job. An ambulance supervisor is not a paramedic. Do not misrepresent your work experience. If you do so, you will be risking a 5 year ban from Canada.

Thank you sir...tbh. if you go to canadian website you will see ambulance supervisor as one of the occupations under paramedical occupations. I chose it because I was in charge of ambulance then. Maybe I will use " firefighter paramedics". Hope this will not give me job misrepresentation

..for the category draws. If someone has a work experience for 3 years and 6 months, is he still qualified under a particular category. This is because, they said at least 6months within the past three years.
