Hello Friends,

Pls, I need your advice on Express Entry, I got notification letter of interest from Alberta from EE. But in my application I stated my status as single in Express Entry and I had submitted study permit application which I stated married and awaiting for approval. I submitted single in express Entry because my wife is current in Africa and still waiting to write the English Exam because of this Covid 19 pandemic delay issue. It's taking so much time and my score not high enough to miss this chance with PNP interest letter.
My question is what is my fate on this issue if I go ahead as single or if I should call them to inform them about the whole thing for solution?
I don't know how to go about it, pls, help. Thanks

Perhap, when I applied for the study permit, my wife was still in school in African. But she wasn't ready to accompanying me to Canada as of the time I submitted the application. She will finish her studies by Nov, 2020. And I know she will eventually join me when she finishes her studies and that was why I included in my application.
I didn't intend to lie, I opened Express Entry application recently and I was a kind of playing with the score and checking my chances of high score which I have higher score with a single status. After that, I forgot to revert my status to married and submitted the application . Now I had letter of interest from Alberta. I dont know what to do.

You get the same score if you include your spouse as non-accompanying as when you put yourself as single. Correct your profile.

You need to contact AINP and inform them of your mistake and see if you still qualify.
