Good day all. Someone talked about expedited PR the other day while we were discussing. Has anyone heard of it or how it's done?

Experienced seniors get in here pls.

Do they mean Express Entry... that's been the new system since Jan 2015.

Probably a scam...

The expedite process is for PR card renewals.

It's not for getting permanent residency itself.

Can someone lists the categories for getting PR.... Cos the person said expedited PR and I've never heard of it from this forum

Categories for PR are listed on the CIC web site: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/apply.asp

Again, there is no expedited PR. If someone is telling you there is - then ask them to provide you with the link to the CIC web site that shows this information.

Based on this and past posts, it seems like you're looking for short cuts to the PR process. There aren't any. You have to go through the process like anyone else or forget about immigrating.

Or you or your source is liberally reinterpreting the words "Express Entry", as kryton suggested. Some people can get PR as fast as 1-2 months in Express Entry after all.

is this only for renewals or for new cards too?
