So two months ago when i applied for a work permit it was refused as my police report was not recent enough, so i got another police report and reapplied, I just received my work permit and POE letter tonight, but two days ago i got an email from the IEC stating that my visa was now rejected due to my work permit being refused.
Will this affect me/how can i fix this? Surely the IEC should have checked that i had another work permit under review and waited for the results? I am due to arrive in Calgary on Oct 12th, will i be able to enter the country with the POE letter and passport just as it says or will i have problems? I tried contacting the CIC about it but there are no phone numbers to get it done quickly, i sent an email to the London based CIC branch but apparently it can take up to 28 days.
