Hello,

Greetings all and thanks to Campbell co folks and all contributors for their help to many people. Hope to receive help on my case regarding Canada Express Entry.

I have a peculiar situation. I have done my Bachelor of Technology Degree in Computer Science (4 years) from India. ECA says 4 -year bachelor program.

I also hold 2 years Masters degree but ECA evaluates to 1 year degree program (AND NOT MASTERS!)

Further later I had also done a 3 year Law Program (Bachelor of Laws) in India. This degree in India makes anyone eligible to become a practising lawyer. albeit after registration in the appropriate Govt. recognised council. I had never registered in the Govt. recognised council since I did not intend to become a practising lawyer (advocate), though I can become one after getting the appropriate registration.

All above degrees were done one after the other i.e. first 4 year technology; then after some work experience the Masters (which is counted as 1 year degree). After this I had done the Bachelor of Laws ( 3 years)

Also, all my work experience has been in the IT industry and none in law.

As you would know law degree as per Canada Express Entry is a "A university-level program at the level of an entry-to-practice professional degree for an occupation for which licensing by a provincial regulatory body is required"

So my question is how many points for education am I eligible to get in Express entry? Which of the following heads i applicable:

1. "Professional degree needed to practice in a licensed profession" - 135 points OR

2. "Bachelor's degree (four years)" - 120 OR

3. "Three-year or more certificate, diploma, or degree plus a Three-year or more certificate, diploma, or degree plus a Bachelor's degree (four years)" - 120 points OR

4. Any other combination?

Please advise.
